DragonsDawn was a hard rock band based out of Lynchburg, Virginia from 1993 thru 1995. The Band was born in November of 1993, and consisted of Matthew Howard (guitar & vocals), Shay Roop (bass guitar) and Robb West (drums & vocals). For the first few months of '94 they worked on developing a set of songs (a.k.a. "set list"). Their music featured a mix of their own original songs and cover songs of bands like AC/DC, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Van Halen and Black Sabbath, to name a few. From the summer of '94 until May of '95 they giged around the Lynchburg area playing festivals and parties. Unfortunatly (or looking back on it now... fortunatly), Shay left the band for college and the remaining members, Matt and Robb decided to take some time off. It looks like they are still "taking some time off"!
